Arda is a planning and delivery specialist in Games having successfully completed commissions for Vancouver 2010, London 2012, Toronto 2015, Glasgow 2018 and having been part of the bid teams for Istanbul 2020 and Budapest 2024.
Arda has recently joined the Birmingham 2022 team with a specific focus on Contract Management, Programme Management, Building Code and Compliance, Engineering Services, Health and Safety and Operational Readiness for VDO (Venue, Village Development and Overlay).
During his 11 years in the Games environment, Arda maintains a passion for his chosen field of work, firmly believing in the global power of sport for the good of all. His expertise lies in planning games development, creating strategic masterplans for venues and sports and implementing event management framework, consisting of leading the planning, delivery and operations of multiple events including onsite operations.
